Cartier revives the tradition of gemstone mosaic in a meticulously crafted piece contained within the immensely tiny dimensions of a dial. For this model, two mosaic techniques complement one another beautifully: the base of the dial is composed of tiny miniature squares, while the horse motif is rendered by a swarm of irregular-shaped tesserae.
