AMAZONITE
A variety of feldspar, its blue-green shade evokes that of turquoise or jade. It was traditionally given by the women of an Amazon tribe to the men, hence its name. It also exists in the Arabian desert, where Ancient Egyptians would come in the hope of finding a piece to carve into an amulet or beads.
