The 2015 Finalists for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are Announced!

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are an international business plan competition created in 2006 by Cartier in partnership with McKinsey & Company, INSEAD business school and the Women’s Forum. Every year they reward six female entrepreneurs, each representing a major world region: Latin America, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East & North Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

Selected from over 1,700 applications, the finalists of the 2015 edition come from 16 countries including Lebanon, Mozambique and Chile. These finalists are now receiving coaching from McKinsey and INSEAD mentors to prepare them for the second round of the competition. They will be required to submit a detailed business plan and give an oral presentation to the Jury during the Annual Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum held in Deauville, France on October 14th-16th, 2015.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on October 15th and will receive $20,000 in funding, one year of individual coaching, as well as media visibility and networking opportunities.
