In 2005 and for the first time in watchmaking history, Cartier presented a movement that combined two key complications - the single push-piece chronograph and the tourbillon - in the caliber 9431 MC.

Case in 18K pink gold, circular-grained crown set with a sapphire cabochon, sapphire crystal, galvanic guilloché slate-colored dial, openwork satin-brushed silvered grid with sunray finish, black transferred Roman numerals, sword-shaped blued-steel hands, sapphire case back, alligator-skin strap, double adjustable deployant buckle in 18K pink gold, water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. Individually numbered mechanical Manufacture movement with manual winding caliber 9431 MC. Movement details: 253 parts, 25 jewels, dimensions of 32.3 mm x 32.1 mm, thickness of 7.65 mm, 21,600 vibrations per hour and approx. 72 hours of power reserve.
