Cartier introduces the 9460 MC movement which, for the first time, adapts features of the Cartier ID One concept watch to the Astrotourbillon movement. Using technology developed for the Cartier ID One, an innovative movement has been crafted: the tourbillon bridges, the level and escapement wheel in carbon crystal are perfectly adjusted at assembly and will need no lubrication. Numbered edition limited to 50 pieces.

The astrotourbillon complication with the tourbillon carriage and escapement in carbon crystal, requiring no regulation or lubrification. Niobium-titanium case, titanium circular-grained crown set with a black spinel cabochon. Sapphire crystal, galvanized slate-gray dial satin-brushed with sunray finish, black transferred Roman numerals. Sword-shaped hands in rhodium-coated steel treated with superluminova. Black alligator-skin strap, double adjustable deployant buckle in 18K white gold. Water-resistant to 30 metres (3 bar). Mechanical Manufacture movement with manual winding, caliber 9460 MC, with 249 parts including 17 jewels.
Movement diameter: 38 mm, movement thickness: 9 mm, balance: 21,600 vibrations/hour, power reserve: approx. 48 hours.
Case dimensions: 47 mm diameter, 15.5 mm thickness.
